Frequently Asked Questions
Splash’s offers a hassle-free and cost-effective solution for individuals aspiring to become a qualified Swim Teacher. Splash’s stands out by providing a unique in-house Splash’s Bootcamp and paid training hours* working alongside experienced Nationally Accredited teachers. Successful completion of the Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety course, coupled with subsequent training hours, leads to the attainment of a nationally recognized swim qualification. *conditions apply
Swim teacher candidates need to be 16 years of age to safely undertake training and work at Splash’s. However, we hire Assistant Teachers from 15 years of age.
Candidates with existing valid swim teaching qualifications will need to participate in the Splash’s training program (at no cost). This program coupled with some shadow shifts, will give you the Splash’s seal of approval!
At Splash’s, being an elite or strong swimmer is not a requirement for teaching. What truly matters is your enthusiasm for working with and nurturing children, along with your comfort in aquatic environments. Regardless of your swimming expertise, Splash’s offers comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills.
Through this training, you’ll gain the confidence and knowledge to effectively conduct swimming lessons. These lessons encompass a range of levels, spanning from baby swimming classes to advanced sessions designed for aspiring young swimmers.
